Minsos Lawyers LLP (“the firm”, “we”) is committed to protecting personal information in accordance with Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and, where applicable, the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). This policy explains what this website collects and how it is handled.
What we collect
The only personal information this website collects is what a visitor chooses to submit through the contact form: name, email address, phone number (optional), an area of practice (optional), and a message.
Our hosting provider also keeps standard technical server logs — such as IP address and browser type — for the security and operation of the site, and the site briefly holds IP addresses in memory to limit automated abuse of the contact form. These are not used to identify visitors.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not set cookies and does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking technologies of any kind.
How we use information
Contact-form submissions are used to respond to the inquiry, to determine whether the firm is able to assist — including checking for conflicts of interest — and for no other purpose. We do not sell personal information or share it for marketing.
Service providers
Contact-form submissions are delivered to the firm by a third-party email-delivery service, and the website is operated on third-party hosting infrastructure. These providers may store or process information on servers located outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be accessible under the laws of those jurisdictions.
Retention and safeguards
Information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose it was collected, and in accordance with the firm's record-retention practices and professional obligations. The site is served exclusively over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and access to submissions is limited to those who need it.
Access, correction, and questions

A note on confidential information
Submitting the contact form does not create a solicitor-client relationship. Please do not include confidential or time-sensitive details about a legal matter until the firm has confirmed it is able to act for you.
