Don Masson

Approachable and practical, Don brings more than thirty-five years of experience to the individuals, families, and businesses he represents, offering legal and business advice that is clear, sensible, and grounded in commercial reality. He began his career at a national law firm before joining Minsos Lawyers.

Don's practice focuses on commercial and residential real estate, commercial lending, corporate and commercial law, and wills and estate administration. Clients often turn to him at pivotal moments, whether closing a purchase, arranging financing, structuring a business, or planning for the next generation. Having advised clients across so many transactions and life stages, he has developed a sound understanding of what they actually need: straightforward answers, realistic options, and a lawyer who anticipates the practical consequences of a decision before it is made.

Don has long been active in his community, serving as a scout leader, an instructor of business law, a past president of his local community league, a member of the Board of Governors of Concordia University of Edmonton, and a volunteer with a variety of community organizations. When not in the office, he enjoys time with his family, reading, gardening, and venturing into the mountains.
